Moonshot Factory

Inspired by Google X, WUHC’s Moonshot Factory brainstorms, develops, and implements projects that fulfill unmet healthcare needs across the University of Pennsylvania campus and throughout the wider Philadelphia community.


Chronology

September: identify pressing unaddressed healthcare needs faced by students, staff, and Philadelphians at large

October: devise innovative project ideas, form teams, delegate roles + responsibilities, and create a timeline for implementation

November-December: find & form connections & collaborations, outline a clear project scope & objective based on research & conversations with experts

January-February: design promotional materials, secure any required funding, confirm speakers + mentors, and finalize project logistics

March-April: add finishing touches to projects, project launch, End of Year Celebration + Final Reflections

August: recruitment + selection of team deputies
